ODELIA: Southeast Asia Journal on Open and Distance Learning
Theme: "Artificial Intelligence: Pedagogical Innovation, Academic Analysis, Innovation in Teaching"
I. Background
The education sector is facing dynamic developments along with the emergence of innovative research and technology. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one opportunity that has the potential to revolutionize various aspects of education.
In the 21st century educational landscape, AI offers instructors the opportunity to develop more engaging learning experiences for students. AI-driven educational technologies, like adaptive learning and content recommendation systems, customize learning materials according to individual student requirements. This not only increases student engagement but also ensures that each student can learn at their own pace and learning style.
Furthermore AI-based tools such as AI-assisted academic data analysis is also have a big potential in understanding student learning patterns. By analyzing data, AI can identify trends, predict learning outcomes, and provide useful insight for more effective teaching strategies. In addition, AI-enabled teaching innovations allow educators to create more interactive learning experiences and improve student collaboration.
As an institution that focuses on open and distance learning, SEAMOLEC is committed to supporting the utilization of AI technology in the learning process. Therefore, exploration of the topic “Artificial Intelligence: Pedagogical Innovation, Academic Analysis and Innovation in Teaching” is important to understand how AI can optimize practices in education.
